Tonya Sanchez

Tonya Sanchez serves as the Assistant Director of The Way Church Parent’s Day Out and Preschool, where she has been a vital part of the leadership team for nearly a decade. Working alongside her co-director and best friend, Samantha Glass, Tonya plays a key role in guiding the daily operations of the program and ensuring every family feels welcomed and supported.

As the wife of a firefighter and mother of three, Tonya knows firsthand the importance of having a preschool that feels like a second home. Her life is full—her youngest competes in travel softball, her middle child excels in music and athletics, and her oldest follows in the family tradition as a firefighter. Tonya brings the same energy, dedication, and love she gives her family to the preschool community.

She is known for her hands-on leadership style, creativity, and knack for transforming spaces into welcoming, purposeful environments. Whether through crafting projects, cleaning (which she genuinely enjoys), or connecting with families, Tonya pours her heart into the details. Rooted deeply in her faith, she believes every child is “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Her mission is to ensure each child who comes through The Way PDO & Preschool feels loved, seen, and celebrated for the unique person God created them to be.
